In 2018 I managed to create with 3 friends a blog called Cryptominando.

They are Emanuele, Michele and Stefano: we had so much fun together. We all studied together at the University of Parma (UniPR) and graduated with great results in Engineering.

Back to the blog: the main focus were the Blockchain technology and Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. We managed to create the blog in one fool day. We met in Lagrimone, near Parma, and we spent all day (and all night) to create Cryptominando. Four laptops and many ideas. This was the situation after several hours:

3.00 a.m 19/01/2018 – Lagrimone (PR) Italy.

This was our first logo, made by Michele with Photoshop:

C and M stand for CryptoMinando – first logo.

After some months we made a new cool logo with the help of an Australian designer, JD.

C in red, M in orange and the flag of Italy – second logo.

This was the homepage of our website:

Cryptominando – Homepage.

Visitor after visitor we obtained good results.

Google Analytics results.

We also took part in many conferences like Codemotion. The most exciting thing we did was flying to Barcelona for the Mobile World Congress (MWC19). MWC Barcelona (formerly but still commonly referred to as Mobile World Congress) is an annual trade show organized by GSMA (formerly the GSM Association), dedicated primarily to the mobile communications industry.

We didn’t have much time to visit the city but La sagrada Familia must be visited.

Is that her?

Full immersion in technology. This was the Sirin Labs “Finney” smartphone. One of the first blockchain-ready smartphone of the world.

After Barcelona we started thinking about the future of the website. Cryptominando had a great success but we didn’t have enough time to manage the website.

We decided to become part of something bigger: Cryptominando was acquired by Cryptonomist in May 2019. We worked for Cryptonomist for several months. Cryptominando is currently offline now, but you can read our last article (in Italian, of course) here.
